LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the following Orders on 26 November 2018 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended:-

(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. 6) Order 2018; and

(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 6) Order 2018.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) extend double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions outside No. 25 Brocks Drive, North Cheam.

(b) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to trie Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to the Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 so as to more accurately represent the existing layout to match conditions as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 3 December 2018 and of the Orders that will be revoked or amended by these Orders, the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the Orders may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within

6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
1. The principal objective of the Order The Sutton (Speed Limit) (20mph) (Butter Hill Area) (No.*) Order 201* is to improve the environment for both pedestrians and cyclists by introducing a 20mph speed limit.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph zone in Arcadia Close; Burleigh Avenue; Butter Hill; Caledon Road; Curran Avenue; Devonshire Road; Elm Grove Parade; Leechcroft Road; Lyndon Avenue; Parkflelds Close; St Mary Avenue; Vellum Drive; Victoria Avenue; and Westcroft Road between No. 54 and Manor Road North.

3. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes, under section 90A of the Highways Act 19802 to construct additional types of road humps known as:-

(a) "a raised table" located at the existing zebra crossing in Butter Hill adjacent to No. 1 Elm Grove Parade with a length of approximately 7.6 metres including ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20;

(b) "speed humps" to be constructed to full road width, with an overall length of 3.7 metres including ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20, in the following locations:-

(i) Butter Hill, outside the common boundary of Nos 20 and 22, and Nos. 60 and 62;

(ii) Leechcroft Road outside the common boundary of Nos 5 and 7 and Nos. 29 and 31.

Each Speed Hump would be an elevated section of carriageway 75 millimetres higher at its highest point than the surrounding carriageway.
4. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order (and of the Orders that would be revoked or amended by the proposed Order) and a plan showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday to Friday.

5.
