LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 457) ORDER 2018 THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (MP2) (NO. 2) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 11 September 2018, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Orders will be to further amend existing Merton waiting and loading restriction orders so that-



(a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for 20 minutes) will be prohibited at any time:-



(i) at the junctions listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice; or



(ii) in the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice;



(b) the waiting restrictions relating to Brookfields Avenue, Riverside Drive, Dennis Park Crescent, SW20, Hayward Close and Stane Close, will be revoked and re-enacted to the current on-street layout;



(c) waiting restrictions will be removed in the lengths of Blenheim Road specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice.



3. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 24 September 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.



4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON Removal of Disabled Persons Parking Places THE MERTON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (NO. 226) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 11 September 2018, made the above mentioned Order under the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.



2. The general effect of the above mentioned "Free Parking Places" Order will be to revoke the disabled persons parking places at the locations listed in the Schedule to this Notice.



3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 24 September 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 11 September 2018, made the above mentioned Orders under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.



2. The general effect of the Orders will be to convert sections of existing parking places, in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations to facilitate proposed vehicle crossovers.



3. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 24 September 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places VSW1' Order would be to :-



(a) revoke the Merton (Parking Places) (VSW1) (No. 2) Order 2018 and re-enact its provisions; and



(b) extend the controlled parking zone 'VSW1' to include the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice and designate permit only parking places in those roads that would operate Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. inclusive, and specify that-



(i) each parking place may be used, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the leaving during permitted hours of such vehicles as are passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, or invalid carriages displaying a valid permit. Motor cycles and vehicles displaying a "blue badge" would park free;



(ii) a maximum of 3 permits per residential address would be issued by the Council or its agents to persons whose usual place of abode is in a road or length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. Subject to sub-paragraphs (iv) to (vi) below, the charges would be £65 per annum or £32.50 for six months for the first permit, £110 per annum or £55 for six months for the second permit and £140 per annum or £70 for six months for the third permit;



(iii) subject to sub-paragraphs (iv) to (vi) below, charges for other permits would be as follows: resident address permits would charged at the same rate as residents' permits, free for housebound or registered disabled applicants; business permits would be £331 for 6 months; annual visitor permits (one per household) would be £140, residents would be entitled to 100 half day temporary visitors' permits at a charge of £1.50 per permit; teacher permits would be £180 per annum and all zone trader permits would be £900 per annum, £600 for 6 months, £375 for 3 months, £150 for 1 month and £50 for 1 week;



(iv) there may be an additional £25 charge for the administration of new resident or annual visitor permits issued and renewals of permits. This charge would be waived if the successful applicant is granted a permit within 4 weeks of the Order coming into
