ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restriction Ham Common, Ham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate filming at the Cassel Hospital, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Ham Common, Ham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Ham Common, on its north-eastern side, from the north-western kerb-line of Upper Ham Road, north-westwards for a distance of 130 metres.



3. The order will come into effect on 14 August 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 14 August 2018 until 24 August 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

2. Whilst the works take place,



(a) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Third

Cross Road, from its junction with Staines Road to a point outside No. 76 Third Cross Road; and

lb) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Third Cross Road, from a point outside Nos 78-80 Third Cross Roped to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 90 and 94 Third Cross Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 20 August 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 August 2018 until 23 August 2018. The road closure will be in effect between 20 and 23 August 2018 and the waiting restricitoOn will be in effect between 20 and 22 August 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Staines Road, First Cross Road and Hampton Road and via Hampton Road, Second Cross Road and Staines Road.



5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Until the date on which the experimental Order ceases to have effect.

4. Please address any representations to these Orders to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ or by email to highwaysandtransport@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk quoting the reference given above to be received by no later than 8 February 2019.



5. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within



6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. 63) ORDER 2018

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 2 August 2018 made the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order



is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.

3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets:

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Manor Gardens and Warwick Close, Hampton.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in: -



(a) Manor Gardens, between its junction with High Street, Hampton and its junction with Warwick Close; and



(b) Warwick Close, from a point outside No. 13 Warwick Close to its junction with Cardinal's Walk.



The one-way working in Warwick Close will be suspended. The closures will not operate concurrently.

3. The order will come into effect on 13 August 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 13 August 2018 until 17 September 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available



(a) for Manor Gardens, via Warwick Close, Manor Gardens, Cardinal's Walk, Ormond Drive, Howards Close, Cardinal's Walk and Warwick Close;



(b) for Warwick Close, via High Street, Uxbridge Road, Ormond Drive and Manor Gardens, and vice versa.

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ST MARGARETS RIVERSIDE CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on 2 August 2018, the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, modified the Orders ("the experimental Orders") named above.



2. The effects of the modifications will be: -



(a) that parking bays on St Margarets Road (between Northcote Road and Heron Road) will be converted to partial footway parking bays;



(b) to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in lengths of St Margarets Road between Northcote Road and a point north of Heron Road;



(c) convert the loading bay and limited time parking bay in Talbot Road to permit holder parking bays;



(d) to install lengths of double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") across various vehicle crossovers in the zone;



(e) to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") at the corner of Kilmorey Gardens, north to south arm and east to west arm;



(f) to introduce a length of shared use parking bays, opposite No. 7 Pomeroy Close with a maximum stay of one hour;



(g) to introduce lengths of shared use parking bays in Kilmorey Road on its south-eastern side with a maximum stay of one hour;



(h) to convert a length of permit parking bay on the northern side of Railshead Road to shared use parking with a maximum stay of one hour;



(i) to revoke a disabled persons' parking bay in Kilmorey Gardens;



(j) to relocate a disabled persons' parking bay in the vicinity of Nos 167-169 Haliburton Road northwards by 1 metre.

This modification will come into effect on 6 August 2018.

3. Copies of the modification, plans showing the location and effect of the amended restrictions and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -
