ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (No. 1) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2018 PRIORY ROAD, HAMPTON (Reference 18/115)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 24 May 2018 made the above order under sections9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Prohibition of Stopping outside Schools Order is to introduce a length of School Keep Clear Markings in Priory Road, Hampton, on its northern side, from a point 15 metres east of the western kerb-line of Percy Road, eastwards for a distance of 26.5 metres. The restrictions will operate between 8am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

3. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 4 June 2018 a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -
   (a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 18/115 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
   (b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond. gov.uk/public_notices until the Order ceases to have effect.

4. This Order provides that in pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director of Environment of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, or other person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the roads affected by this Order run, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

5. If the provisions of this Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the its provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

6. Please address any representations to the Order to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ or by e-mail to highwaysandtransport@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk , quoting the reference given above by no later than 7 December 2018.

7. Persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. 61) ORDER 2018 DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 17/169)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 24 May 2018 made the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.

3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets:

Addison Road, Teddington; Marchmont Road, Richmond;

Bishops Grove, Hampton; Oldfield Road, Hampton;

Cobbett Road, Twickenham; Onslow Avenue, Richmond;

Fielding Avenue, Twickenham; The Crescent, Barnes;

Haliburton Road, Twickenham; Thompson Avenue, Kew; and

Lyric Road, Barnes; Washington Road, Barnes.

4. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will also revoke the existing parking bays for disabled persons' vehicles in the vicinity of the following properties: -
1 Cleveland Gardens, Barnes; 44 Hospital Bridge Road Twickenham; and
9 Devoncroft Gardens, Twickenham; 239 Whitton Dene, Twickenham.
29 Hatherop Road, Hampton;

5. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 29 May 2018, plans showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Ennerdale Road, Kew (Reference 18/113)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ennerdale Road, Kew.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Ennerdale Road between its junctions with Eversfield Road and The Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect on 15 June 2018. The restrictions will be in force between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 15 June 2018 and again at the same times on 22 June 2018 and 29 June 2018 as contingency dates, and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Ennerdale Road, Eversfield Road, Kew Road and The Avenue.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
   (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
