LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON EXTENSION OF M2 CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE TO INCLUDE FARM ROAD AND FAVERSHAM ROAD AND VARIOUS WAITING RESTRICTIONS THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (M1 AND M2) (NO. 1) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201* THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CPZ M1 AND M2) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201* THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, further to the notice published on 7 September 2017 in the Wimbledon Guardian and London Gazette relating to proposals for the extension of controlled parking zone M2 and various waiting restrictions, that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned revised Orders under sections 6, 45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. It is the Council's intention that all the proposals referred to in the notice published on 7 September 2017 would be implemented but with the following amendments to the Orders:-

(a) the reduction of lengths of parking places to accommodate the extension by 10 metres of the proposed double yellow lines ('at anytime' waiting restrictions) in Faversham Road, both sides, from its junction with Middleton Road and Canterbury Road (to a total length of 20 metres);

(b) the introduction of double yellow lines ('at anytime' waiting restrictions) in Croxden Walk, both sides, between its junction with Canterbury Road and its junction with Cerne Road.

3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merlon Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/M2/ EXTENSION, no later than 9 March 2018.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON INTRODUCTION OF RPW CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (RPW) ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, further to the previous notice relating to proposals for the introduction of a new controlled parking zone (RPW) published on 7 December 2017 in the London Gazette and the Wimbledon Guardian, that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the revised above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. It is the Council's intention that all the proposals referred to in the notice published on 7 December 2017 would be implemented. However, the proposed parking places Order has been revised in response to representations received as a result of the previous notice and the amendments are detailed as follows:-

(a) the extension of controlled parking zone RPW to include Nos. 348 -364 Coombe Lane, the north-east side, (even numbered properties only), thereby enabling the occupiers to apply for permits, subject to meeting the permit criteria;

(b) conversion of the parking places specified in Schedule 1 to this notice from shared use to pay and display/pay by phone only, with a maximum stay of 2 hours and 1 hour no return; the charge for which would be first 20 minutes free, one pound and twenty pence per hour (linear tariff of 10 pence for every 5 minutes, minimum payment 40 pence); any payment by phone would incur a supplementary 20 pence administration charge;

(c) conversion of the parking places specified in Schedule 2 to this notice from permit parking only to shared use parking.

3. 2. Beverley Avenue, the east side, from a point 3.8 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Beverley Avenue northward for a distance of 10 metres.

3. Holland Avenue, the west side, from a point 5.2 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Holland Avenue northward for a distance of 11 metres.

4. Holland Avenue, the east side, from a point 5.1 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Holland Avenue northward for a distance of 10 metres.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CONNAUGHT GARDENS, SM4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in Connaught Gardens, SM4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which during the works would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding in or waiting (including in any parking places or for the purpose of loading or unloading) in Connaught Gardens, between its junction with the St Helier Avenue access road fronting Nos. 41 to 67 St Helier Avenue and a point opposite the eastern wall of No. 1 Connaught Gardens.

2. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Connaught Gardens specified above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

3. Connaught Gardens is a cul-de-sac.

4. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties in Connaught Gardens insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Saturday 3 March 2018, with the works anticipated to take place between 8am and 4.30pm. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended) VARIOUS ROADS BOROUGH-WIDE GULLY CLEANSING (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable gully cleansing works to be undertaken, they intend to make an Order to restrict parking on lengths of the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

2. During the works no person shall cause or permit any unauthorised vehicle to wait, load or unload in various lengths of the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Existing marked parking places in the various lengths of said roads would be suspended.

Note: The works are expected to commence on 26 February 2018 and be carried out on a rolling basis. Warning signs would be posted on the road 3 days before the works are expected to take place and cones would be put in place the day before. The works are expected to take 1 day on each road, but may take longer if there are any unforeseen circumstances or poor weather conditions.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such an extent as indicated by the placing of prescribed signs.

4. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or

(b) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. The Order would come in operation on 26 February 2018, and would remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
DARLASTON ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations in Darlaston Road they intend to make an Order, the effects of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in Darlaston Road, between its junction with Worple Road and the north­western boundary of No. 6 Darlaston Road;

(b) enter or proceed in the south-western footway of Darlaston Road between its junction with Worple Road and the north-western boundary of No. 6 Darlaston Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Darlaston Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Edge Hill and Worple Road.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order would come into force on Saturday 3 March 2018 and remain in force until Monday 5 March 2018 inclusive.
