LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) GRANGE VALE, SUTTON
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate installation of traffic calming measures and associated signage and because the works are being executed in the carriageway it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 22 January 2018 with works expecting to take 1 day to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close Grange Vale, Sutton between its junctions with Grange Road, Sutton and Russell Place.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via, Grange Vale, Brighton Road, Mulgrave Road, Worcester Road, Grange Road and vice versa.

5. Vehicle access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road will be maintained at all times insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) GREENFORD ROAD AND HIGH STREET SUTTON

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of Transport for London, hereby gives notice that to facilitate reinstatement of the carriageway following a new water supply connection and because works are being executed in the carriageway it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Thursday 15 February 2018 with works taking place between 9.00pm to 5.00am and are expected to take 1 night to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily:-

* prohibit all vehicular traffic in:-
* Greenford Road, Sutton between its junctions with High Street, Sutton and the underground exit from St Nicholas Centre Service Entrance; and
High Street, Sutton between its junctions with Benhill Avenue and Greenford Road;
* introduce a banned right turn into Benhill Avenue from Elm Grove; and
* suspend the one-way system in Benhill Avenue between its junctions with High Street, Sutton and Throwley Way making this section of road temporarily two-way.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic when the prohibitions are in place will be via; Throwley Way, (A232) Chalk Pit Way, Sutton Court Road, Grove Road, Sutton Park Road, Cheam Road and St Nicholas Way.

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
