ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. 59) ORDER 2017 DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS BUSHY PARK ROAD, TEDDINGTON

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 September 2017 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The principal objective of the Order is to introduce a disabled persons parking bay outside No 41 Bushy Park Road, Tedington.

3. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 18 September 2017, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order:-

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 17/085 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (HIGH STREET, HAMPTON HILL) (20mph SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 HIGH STREET, HAMPTON HILL 20 MILES PER HOUR LIMIT

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 September 2017 made the above Order under section 84 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER is to introduce a 20 mph speed limit in High Street, Hampton Hill from a point 18 metres north of the northern boundary of No 18 High Street, Hampton Hill to a point outside Falstaff Mews and No. 189 High Street, Hampton Hill.

3. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 18 September 2017, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order-la) can be inspected, quoting Reference 17/134, at the Civic
 Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and (b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.htm

4. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Richmond Hill, Richmond (Reference 17/157)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Richmond Hill, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Richmond Hill, Richmond from a point outside No 128 Richmond Hill to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 116/118 Richmond Hill.

3. The order will come into effect on 27 September 2017. The restrictions will be in force from 8am until 6pm on 27 September 2017, with a backup date with the same times of 4 October 2017, if required, and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic affected by the closures shall be available via Queens Road, Park Road, and Friars Stile Road.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (St Margarets Riverside) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2017 The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Parking Places) (Supplementary Provisions) (Permits) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2017 The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No,157) Order 2017 CASSILIS ROAD, NORFOLK CLOSE AND NORTHCOTE ROAD, TWICKENHAM (Reference 16/044)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 September 2017 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the St Margarets Riverside Parking Places Order is extend the permit parking zone, S3, to include Cassilis Road, Norfolk Close and Northcote Road, Twickenham providing on street parking for permit holders only The hours of control of the St Margarets Riverside Parking Zone are Monday to Friday 10am to Noon, that is, to exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. The sole purpose of this Order is to replicate and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (St Margarets Riverside) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Experimental Order 2016.

3. The general effect of the Parking Places Supplementary Provisions Permits Order is to set the charges for parking permits as described in Schedule 1 to this Notice and to set the charges for residents' visitors' parking permits as described in paragraph 7 of this Notice. The sole purpose of this Order is to replicate and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Parking Places) (Supplementary Provisions) (Permits) (No. 1) Experimental Order 2016

4. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order is to introduce waiting restrictions in lengths of Cassilis Road, Twickenham ("no waiting at any time"). The sole purpose of this Order is to replicate and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (No. 1) Experimental Order 2016.

5. Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places where only vehicles which display a valid resident's permit, a valid business permit, a residents' visitor permit, a multi-zone business permit or an operational permit may park during the controlled hours.

6. The charges for resident, business and multi-zone business parking permits are given in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

7. For a book of ten residents' visitor permits, the charge will be £13.20, or £6.60 if purchased by a person aged 60 years or over. Each permit will be valid between the hours of 8am and 2pm or between 12.30pm and 6.30pm.

8. Copies of the Orders which come into force on 18 September 2017, a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders:-

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 16/044, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Holly Road, Twickenham (Reference 17/154)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road, from its junction with Queens Road to a point outside No 65 Holly Road, Twickenham. The one way working in Holly Road between Copthall Gardens and Queens Road will be suspended,

3. The order will come into effect on 18 September 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 18 September 2017 until 22 September 2017 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Queens Road, Station Road and Copthall Gardens. Access will be maintained to the car park.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
