ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS -VARIOUS LOCATIONS (TMO-P244)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended: -
- The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 20**;
- The Kingston upon Thames (Parking Places) (Canbury) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 20**;
- The Kingston upon Thames (Parking Places) (Norbiton) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 20**;
- The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 20**;
- The Kingston upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 20**.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be;

(a) to introduce disabled persons' parking places at the following locations:-
- Moor Lane, Chessington - outside No. 137
- Sheephouse Way, New Malden - outside No. 40

(Vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' badge may wait in the above parking places without charge or time limit).
(b) in Gloucester Road, Kingston, in order to allow access to off-street parking areas;

(i) to remove part of an existing 'permit holders only' parking

place (to be replaced by a single yellow line waiting
restriction) outside No. 54 Gloucester Road; and
(ii) to remove an existing 'shared use' parking place (to be

replaced by a single yellow line waiting restriction) outside No. 83 Gloucester Road;
(c) in Park Farm Road, Kingston, to lengthen an existing 'permit

holders only' parking place due to a redundant vehicle crossover (outside No. 20 Park Farm Road);
(d) in Manor Drive North, New Malden;

(i) to introduce free, time-limited parking bays (to apply

between 8 a.m. & 6 p.m. on Monday to Saturday, maximum stay 2 hours) (in front of Nos. 113-123);
(ii) to introduce additional "at any time" double yellow line

waiting restrictions at various locations in the area of the Malden Manor roundabout and in Sheephouse Way (at its
junction with Manor Drive North);
(iii) to introduce additional single yellow line waiting

restrictions (to apply between 11.00 a.m. & noon on
Monday to Friday) at various locations in the area of the Malden Manor roundabout;
(e) in Corkran Road, Surbiton, the times of an existing length of single yellow line waiting restriction (applying from Monday

to Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) are to apply either from Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (at the side of No. 14 Lovelace
Road) or from Monday to Friday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (from Nos. 2 to 6 Corkran Road); and
(f) to introduce additional "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions at various locations in Ashcroft Road,

Beechcroft Road, Cedarcroft Road, Fircroft Road and Oakcroft
Villas, Chessington.
3. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed

particulars of the proposals, including plans showing the location and
effect, are available for inspection until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at:
? The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon

Thames, KT1 1EU between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to
Fridays inclusive;
? Hook & Chessington Library, The Hook Centre, Hook Road, Chessington during normal opening hours;

? Kingston Library, Fairfield Road, Kingston, during normal

opening hours; and
? New Malden Library, Sandal Road, New Malden, during normal opening hours;

? Old Malden Library, Church Road, Worcester Park, during normal

opening hours;
? Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton, during normal opening hours; and

? Tudor Library, Tudor Drive, Kingston during normal opening hours.

5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing (please quote TMO-P244) by 21st April 2017 to either;
