Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Anlaby Road, Teddington (Reference 22/131)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a new sewer connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Anlaby Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place,

(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Anlaby Road at its junction with Hampton Road;

(b) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Anlaby Road between its junction with Hampton Road and a appoint outside No. 64 Anlaby Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 13 June 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 13 June 2022 until 22 June 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be available via Hampton Road, Gloucester Road, and Connaught and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate has main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Craig Road, Ham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Craig Road between its junctions with Lock Road and New Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 20 June 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 June 2022 until 1 July 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lawrence Road and Dukes Avenue. Local access will be maintained.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

The London Borough Of Richmond Upon Thames (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) (Turks Head 10k Run, Twickenham) Order 2022
Riverside And The Embankment - Twickenham

(Reference 22/135)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the 6 June 2022 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of a running event at Riverside and The Embankment, Twickenham.

3. Whilst the event is taking place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of streets: -

(a) Riverside, Twickenham - from its junction with Lebanon Park westwards to its western extremity;

(b) The Embankment, Twickenham - from its eastern extremity, westwards to its junction with Water Lane.

4. The roads as described above in section 3 will be closed on Sunday 12 June 2022 between 10am and 10.10am. and only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Copies of the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/135 at the

Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 16A The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames (Special Events) (Various Street Parties) (No. 4) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the 6 June 2022, 2022, made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of street parties on various borough roads to allow residents to celebrate within their communities

3. The streets which will be closed are listed in the Schedule to this notice. Full details of the lengths of street which will be closed and times when the closures will be in force will be contained in the order referred to in the next paragraph.

4. Copies of the Order-fa) can be inspected until 31 December 2022, quoting Reference
