PROPOSED DISABLED BAYS AND PROPOSED REVOCATION OF DISABLED BAYS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS (TMO - KINGMAP0070)

ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES
PROPOSED DISABLED BAYS AND PROPOSED REVOCATION OF DISABLED BAYS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS (TMO - KINGMAP0070)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Kingston upon Thames (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*; and
(b) The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*

2. The principal objectives of the proposed Orders are; (a) to introduce disabled bays to provide a parking facility for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and (b) revoke those parking bays that are no longer required;

3. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) provide new disabled person's parking places, 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a disabled person's badge may park at any time, at the following locations:-
(i) outside No's 1 and 3 Albury Road, Chessington (2 wheels on the footway);
(ii) outside No. 58 Canbury Avenue, Kingston
(iii) outside No. 14 Dawson Road, Kingston
(iv) outside No. 4 to 6 Park Court, Park Road, New Malden
(v) outside No. 55 Porchester Road, Kingston
(vi) outside No. 6 Vale Road North, Surbiton (2 wheels on the footway)
(b) revoke existing disabled person's parking places at the following locations
(i) outsde No. 42 Idmiston Square, Worcester Park

4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected as follows:-
(a) online at

(b) The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive
(c) Council libraries; and
(d) copies of the made Order and plan can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays); or

5.
