ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Church Terrace, Richmond
(Ref: 22/022)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Church Terrace, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may:-

(a) permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Terrace between its junction with Ormond Road and Wakefield Road;

(b) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bay on the eastern side of The Hermitage outside No. 14 The Hermitage;

(c) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the south-western side of the Hermitage, outside Hermitage Lodge;

(d) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the western side of Church Terrace opposite Warrington Road

3. The order will come into effect on 31 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 31 January 2022 until 11 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Alternative routes for traffic affected by the closure will be available via adjacent streets as indicated by signs.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Clifden Road, Tudor Gardens, Grove Avenue Laurel Avenue, Lion Road and Staten Gardens Twickenham
(Ref: 22/021)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a rolling parking suspension in Clifden Road, Tudor Gardens, Grove Avenue, Laurel Avenue, Lion Road and Staten Gardens.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of street, at such times and to such an extent as indicated by traffic signs:-

(a) Clifden Road - both sides from its junction with Heath Road to a point outside No 50 Clifden Road and from its junction with Heath Road to a point outside No 33 Clifden Road;

(b) Tudor Gardens both sides from its junction with Clifden Road to a point outside No 30 Tudor Gardens;

(c) Grove Avenue - both sides from a point outside No 2 Grove Avenue to a point outside No 64 and No 1 to No 65

(d) Laurel Avenue - both sides from a point outside No 2 Laurel Avenue to a point outside No 66 and J/W Heath Road to No 63)

(e) Lion Road (for Storage and Welfare only) - from a point adjacent to No. 63 Laurel Ave to a point adjacent to No. 2 Grove Ave; and

(f) Staten Gardens - (for Storage and Welfare only) - from outside No 4 Staten Gardens to a point outside No 10 Staten Gardens)

3. The order will come into effect on 31 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 31 January 2022 until 30 October 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in St Margarets Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in St Margarets Road between its junctions with Kilmorey Road and Talbot Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 30 January 2022. The restrictions will be in force between 10pm on 30 January 2022 and 5.30am on 31 January 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via A3004, South Street, Twickenham Road and Worple Road

5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas man replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Fielding Avenue, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Fielding Avenue at its junction with Staines Road

3. The order will come into effect on 31 January 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 31 January 2022 until 11 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Staines Road, Twining Avenue and Turner Avenue.

5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Sherland Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Sherland Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Sherland Road between a point outside No. 41 Sherland Road and a point outside No. 61 Sherland Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 1 February 2022. The restrictions will be in force between 09.30 And 14.00 on 1 February 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Heath Road, Kings Street, London Road, Chertsey Road,

Great Chertsey Road, Twickenham Road, Staines Road and The Green
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 31 January 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 31 January 2022 until 30 March 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
