THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL
Amendments to Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell in Scotts Farm Road (D2374) Ewell

Surrey County Council propose to make "The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Eweli) Amendment of Waiting Loading and Unloading Prohibition and On-Street Parking Places Orders) Order 2018 (Amendment No.6) Order 202-°. The purpose and effect of the Order will be to make certain amendments to the waiting and parking restrictions in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32,35,36, 45,46, 49,51 and 53 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") as follows:-
1. AMEND "The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Revocation and Consolidation of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Prohibition and Restriction) Order 2018" so as to prohibit the waiting by vehicles in the following lengths of Scotts Farm Road -

(a) that length of the north-eastern side of the carriageway of Scotts Farm Road (D2374) Ewell which extends from a point 1 metres north-west of the north-western property boundary of No.6 Scotts Farm Road south-eastwards to the property boundary line between Nos. 2 and 4 Scotts Farm Road;

(b) that length of the south-western side of the carriageway of Scotts Farm Road which extends 43 metres either side of trie site access, otherwise known as X6167 Dante Way;

(c) provide that the following exemptions shall apply -

(i) for loading on and unloading from vehicles; (ii) boarding and alighting from vehicles; (iii) using vehicles for works on or adjoining those lengths of roads specified and the maintenance of those roads and the services in them; (iv) for disabled persons vehicles in accordance with the "Blue Badge" scheme.

2. REVOKE "The Sunrey County Council Scotts Farm Road (D2374) Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order 2021" in its entirety.

3. MAKE certain drafting amendments to the following Orders which will not affect the operation of the prohibitions and restrictions on the ground - (a) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Eweli) (Consolidation of Free Street Parking Places and Revocation) Order 2018; (b) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Consolidation and Revocation of Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Order 2018; (c) The Surrey County Council Hookfield and Lindsay Close Controlled Parking Zone in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell (Consolidation of Waiting Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) Order 2018; (d) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Eweli) (Consolidation and Revocation of Free Street Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Order 2018; (e) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Eweli) (Consolidation of Free On-Street Loading Bays and Free On-Street Goods Vehicle Loading Bays) Order 2018; (t) The Surrey County Council Various Roads in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell (Consolidation of Permit Holders Only) Order 2018.
