ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (SHARED USE) (LOADING PLACES AND TAXI RANKS) (No. ) ORDER 202* HILL STREET, RICHMOND
(Reference 21/024)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a shared use loading bay and cab rank operating as follows:-

(a) Between 7pm and midnight and between midnight and 7am on all days of the week, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle, except taxis, to stop on the north-eastern side of Hill Street from a point outside the party wall of Nos 40/50 and No 52 Hill Street south-eastwards for a distance of 16 metres; and

(b) Between 7am and 7pm on all days of the week no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait, except for the purposes of loading or unloading with a maximum stay of 20 minutes, and no return within an hour on the north-eastern side of Hill Street from a point outside the party wall of Nos 40/50 and No 52 Hill Street south-eastwards for a distance of 16 metres.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/0234, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices



4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restrictions Church Lane, Teddington
(Ref: 21/025)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a sewer connection they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary restriction of traffic in Church Lane, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Church Lane, Teddington.

3. The Order will come into effect on 22 February 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 22 February 2021 until 27 February 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Avenue Road, Hampton
(Reference 21/026)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacements, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Avenue Road, Hampton

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Avenue Road between its junction with Station Road and a point outside No. 42 Avenue Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 25 February 2021.

The restrictions will be in force between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 25 February 2021 only, and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles will be available via Station Road, Percy Road, Upper Sunbury Road, Plevna Road and Varna Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Bracken Gardens, Barnes
(Reference 21/028)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a skip to be sited, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bracken Gardens, Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Bracken Gardens on the western side of the north-west to south-east arm, from a point 30 metres south of its junction with Church Road, northwards for a distance of 10 metres (2 bays).

3. The order will come into effect on 23 February 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 23 February 2021 until 16 June 2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Kew Foot Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate access for construction vehicles to a development site, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Kew Foot Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Kew Foot Road from a point outside No. 12 Kew Foot Road to a point outside No. 22 Kew Foot Road (both sides)

3. The order will come into effect on 22 February 2021. The restrictions will be in force between 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive from 22 February 2021 until 4 October 2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Avenue Road and Verna Road, Hampton

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Avenue Road and Verna Road, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Avenue Road and Verna Road between their junctions with Station Road and Plevna Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 1 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force between 09.30 and 15.30 on 1 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Plevna Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Road Under Railway Bridge on Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick
(Reference 21/029)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a power connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic under the railway bridge in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Lower Teddington Road between a point outside No 17 Lower Teddington Road and a point outside the entrance to Becketts Wharf.

3. The order will come into effect on 4 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 4 March 2021 until 8 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Lower Teddington Road, Seymour Road, High Street, Hampton Wick and Lower Teddington Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
