LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(THE DOWNS. WEST WIMBLEDON! (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate gas mains reinforcement and associated works in The Downs, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle toi­ls) enter or proceed in The Downs, from its junction with Worple Road

north-westward for a distance of 30 metres; or (b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of The Downs specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of The Downs specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Ridgway, Edge Hill and Worple Road or vice-versa.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

3. The Order will come into force on Monday 4th January 2021 and it is expected that the works will be completed by 31st January 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 12 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (UNIVERSITY ROAD. COLLIERS WOOD) (NO. 2)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate a new water connection and associated works in High Street, Colliers Wood, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in University Road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in University Road, from its junction with High Street, Colliers Wood, north-westward for a distance of 20 metres; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of University Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of University Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Denison Road, College Road and High Street, Colliers Wood or vice-versa.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into force on Monday 11th January 2021 and it is expected that the works would be completed on Tuesday 12th January 2021. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(FLORENCE AVENUE. LILLESHALL ROAD AND THE DRIVE). MORDEN)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice, that to facilitate gas main replacement works in Florence Avenue, Morden, at its junction with Lilleshall Road and The Drive, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-(a) enter or proceed in:-

(i) Florence Avenue, from its junction with The Drive to a point 25 metres west of the said junction;

(ii) The Drive, the northbound lane on its west side, from its junction with Lilleshall Road northward to a point 15 metres north of its junction with Florence Avenue;

(iii) Lilleshall Road, the northbound lane on its west side, from its junction with The Drive southward to a point 25 metres south of its junction with Florence Avenue;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a)(i) to (iii) above.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. During the works, vehicular traffic affected by the closure of Florence Avenue should proceed via The Drive, Leonard Avenue or Victory Avenue and Ravensbury Avenue or vice-versa. Two-way traffic would be maintained in The Drive and Lilleshall Road using two-way traffic lights.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Monday 4th January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed by 28th February 2021. However, the Order would remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

PINCOTT ROAD. SOUTH WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable water main reinforcement and associated works in Pincott Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Pincott Road, the west side, from its junction with Nelson Grove Road southward for a distance of 30 metres.

3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(b) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday, 12th January 2021 with the works anticipated to be completed by Sunday 17th January 2021. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NELSON GROVE ROAD. SOUTH WIMBLEDON
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the installation of new water service connections and associated works in Nelson Grove Road, South Wimbledon, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Nelson Grove Road, South Wimbledon, between its junction with Pincott Road and its junction with Doel Close; or

(b) enter of proceed in the southern footway of the length of Nelson Grovel Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

(c) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Nelson Grove Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Nelson Grove Road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Pincott Road, High Path and Abbey Road and vice^versa or by way of Merantun Way, Christchurch Road, Priory Road and Merton High Street and vice-versa.

7. Pedestrians affected by the closure of the footway should proceed using the footway opposite.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order would come into force on Monday 18th January 2021 and it is expected that the works would be completed within 3 months. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) ELM GROVE. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate major sewer repair and relay works in Elm Grove, SW19, they Intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, Including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Elm Grove, both sides, from a point 5 metres north-west of the north-western boundary of No. 17 Elm Grove to a point 7 metres south-east of the south­eastern boundary of No. 9 Elm Grove.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended, in phases, for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. The works would be carried out in two phases as follows:-

(a) the first phase would affect Elm Grove, from a point 5 metres north­west of the north-western boundary of No. 17 Elm Grove to a point 5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 14 Elm Grove;

(b) the second phase would affect Elm Grove, from a point 5 metres north­east of the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 14 Elm Grove to a point 7 metres south-east of the south-eastern boundary of No. 9 Elm Grove.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 11 January 2021 and It is anticipated that the works would be completed by 19 March 2021. However, the Order would remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(QUEENS ROAD. SW19) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water service connection and ancillary works in Queens Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) proceed south-west bound in Queens Road between the common boundary of Nos. 37 and 39 Queens Road and the common boundary of Nos. 29 and 31 Queens Road;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Queens Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Queens Road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the south-west bound closure of Queens Road should proceed by way of Trinity Road, The Broadway (westbound), Gladstone Road, Sir Cyril Black Way, Hartfield Road and The Broadway (eastbound).

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into force on Monday 4th January 2021 and remain in operation for 12 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
