Various Roads in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order No.4 2020
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to: a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in: (i) The entire length of D2027 Barrow Hill and D2027 Barrow Hill Close, Worcester Park. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via B284 Old Maiden Lane, D2099 Cromwell Road, D2020 Grafton Road, D2020 The Avenue, D2087 Cleveland Road, D2365 Royal Avenue and D2027 Barrow Hill. 00 The entire length of D1116 Tower Road, Tadworth. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via D1116 High Street Tadworth and B2220 Tadworth Street. (Hi) The entire length of D2414 Kingston Road (Service Road), Worcester Park that extends from its junction with D2414 Timbercroft to D2372 Salisbury Road. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via D2414 Timbercroft and D2372 Salisbury Road, b) Prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians) from entering or proceeding in: (i) The entire length of T6050 Manor Drive (F/P to Ewell Court Avenue), Ewell. Traffic will be diverted via T6048 Meadow Walk, T6049 Townpath -Elmstead Close, D2146 Elmstead Close and D2149 Ewell Court Avenue.
This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable highway surface patching, resurfacing, maintenance and/or footway works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 04 January 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. For parts a)(ii) to (Hi) above access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained at all times; access to residences and businesses will be maintained via the diversion routes described above. For part b)(i) access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians; and to residences and businesses will be maintained via the diversion route described above. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle's owner.
Snakey Alley (T6011) Ewell/Public Footpath No. 18 (Ewell) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2020
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to pedestrians or any person proceeding by any other means from entering or proceeding in that length of townpath known as Snakey Alley (T6011) Ewell, otherwise known as Public Footpath No. 18 (Ewell), which extends from its junction with Epsom Road to the north-western property boundary of No.1 Nightingale Cottages, Epsom Road. This Order is required to enable Kelly Group to lay new ducting and/or carry out ducting works, which are anticipated to be completed within 3 days, between 8am and 6pm during the 6 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 December 2020. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and to the extent indicated by those signs. No sole means of access to any premises will be affected. Alternative Route -A24 Epsom Road, C254 Epsom Road and The Kingsway.
