ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS ARKWRIGHT ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new power connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Arkwright Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Arkwright Road from its junction with Ewhurst Avenue to no.31 Arkwright Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BRIGHTON ROAD SLIP ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecom ducting works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Brighton Road slip road, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the slip road fronting Nos. 436 to 454 Brighton Road will be closed at its junction with Kingsdown Avenue.

3. The Order will come into operation on 27 April 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed over two nights between 8pm and 5am. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
