ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (CENTRAL TWICKENHAM)
(PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No. *) ORDER 202* THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 202* STATION ROAD, TWICKENHAM (Reference 20/039)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order and Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to relocate the parking places sited on the south-eastern side of Station Road between Clifden Road and the north-west to south-east arm of Station Road to the opposite side of the road and replace with double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time").

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, a plan showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/039,

at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (No. 6) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON TAMES (LOADING PLACES) (No. 1) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020 KEW GREEN, KEW (Reference 20/040)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 11 March 2020 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Loading Places Order is to

introduce a Loading Bay on Kew Green outside No. 85 Kew Green operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm throughout the week for the purposes of loading and unloading goods. The maximum stay time will be 1 hour, with no return within 1 hour.
3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction

Order is to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in Kew Green from a point outside the eastern end of 85 Kew Green, to and including the eastern extremity and opposite No.85 Kew Green, from a point 7 meters east of the eastern kerb-line of Bush Road, eastwards for a distance of 3 metres.
4. Full details of the Orders, which will come into operation on 23 March 2020, are contained in the following documents: -

(a) the Orders;

(b) a plan indicating the location and effect of the restrictions; and

(c) the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders.
5. Copies of the above documents: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/040, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor),

44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

until the date on which the Orders cease to have effect.
6. The Orders provide that in pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, or other person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the roads affected by these Orders run, modify or suspend the Orders or any provision thereof.

7. If the provisions of these Orders continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the its provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Orders under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such Orders for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. by 25 September 2020), send a statement in writing

of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND
UPON THAMES (BOROUGH-WIDE) (20mph SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020 VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BOROUGH -AMENDMENT TO THE BOROUGH-WIDE 20 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT (Reference 19/155)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 11 March 2020 made the above Order under section 84 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT AMENDMENT ORDER will be to include the streets and lengths of streets detailed in the Schedule to this Notice in the Borough-wide 20 miles per hour speed limit.

3. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 16 March 2020, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order-fa) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/155, at the

Persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court SCHEDULE
Roads, streets and parts thereof to be included in the existing Borough-wide 20mph speed limit, where any such length of road or street is identified as public highway.
Staines Road between the eastern kerb-line of Mill Road and The Green, Twickenham (northern arm); The Green, Twickenham (northern arm); Heath Road, from its western extremity to its junction with Copthall Gardens (to the boundary of the existing 20mph limit) and A310 between a point 45 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Beverley Road, and its junction with Hampton Court Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) REVOCATION ORDER 2020 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT (Reference 19/199)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 11 March 2020 made the above Order under section 83(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Revocation Order will be to revoke the existing 40 miles per hour speed limit orders currently in force in lengths of Hampton Court Road, Lower Sunbury Road and Upper Sunbury Road, the effect being that these lengths of roads shall become restricted roads for the purposes of Section 81 of the said Act. The Orders which are revoked are:-

(a) The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
(Hampton Court Road) (40 mph Speed Limit)
(Amendment No. 1) Order 2002; (b)The Richmond upon Thames (40 mph Speed Limit)
(No. 1) Traffic Order 1981; and (c) The Richmond upon Thames (40 mph Speed Limit)
(No. 1) Traffic Order 1978 Revocation Order 2000
3. Copies of the Order, which come into operation on 16 March 2020,

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/199, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor),

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
