THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL RUXLEY LANE SERVICE ROAD (D2097), WEST EWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019
ON 16 OCTOBER 2019 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ruxley Lane Service Road (D2097), West Ewell that extends from its junction with Fendall Road (D2160), to its junction with Cox Lane (D2097). This Traffic Order is required to allow for footway slurry works and/or maintenance works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 November 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians; dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residences and businesses on the affected length of Ruxley Lane Service Road (D2097), will be maintained to the point of closure via the vehicular diversion route which will be: Fendall Road, Ruxley Lane, Cox Lane and Ruxley Lane. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of The Act access may only be restricted for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24 hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
GRAFTON ROAD (D2020), WORCESTER PARK TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019 ON 16 OCTOBER 2019 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Grafton Road (D2020), Worcester Park that extends from its junction with Cromwell Road (D2099), for a distance of 50m in a south-westward direction and 50m in a north-eastward direction. This Traffic Order is required to allow for the safe construction of high-friction surfacing, highway surfacing and/or maintenance works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 October 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians; dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residences and businesses on the affected length of Grafton Road (D2020), will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route which will be:- From the north-eastern end of the closure: Grafton Road, The Avenue, Cleveland Road, Barrow Hill, Old Malden Lane, Worcester Park Road, Kingston Road and Grafton Road. From the south-western end of the closure: Grafton Road, Kingston Road, Salisbury Road, Delta Road and Grafton Road. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
WEST STREET (B280), EPSOM TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER 2019 ON 16 OCTOBER 2019 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the south-eastbound carriageway of that length of West Street (B280), Epsom that extends from its junction with West Hill (B280) and West Hill (D2437), to the southwestern property boundary of “Apex House”. This Traffic Order is required to enable SGN to carry out gas mains replacement works. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 9 days of the 6 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 October 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated will be required for 24 hours each day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and; dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No sole access will be affected however access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the diversion route for south-eastbound traffic which will be Manor Green Road, Christ Church Road, Horton Lane, Hook Road, Chase Road, Waterloo Road, Ashley Road and South Street.
