THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL
HOLMAN ROAD (D2212) WEST EWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019
ON 4SEPTEMBER 2019 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL ("THE COUNCIL") MADE the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holman Road (D2212)West Ewell which extends from the property boundary line between Nos. 8 and 9 Holman Road to the property boundary line between Nos. 9 and 11. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works, which is anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, during the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 9 September 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day willonly operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle'sowner. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, access to premises within the closed area, including access by emergencyvehicles to these properties, will not be maintained. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within thatlength of Stoneleigh Park Road, or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of anysuch danger arising.
Alternative Route - Cox Lane, Hogsmill Way and Millais Way or vice versa.
VICTORIA PLACE (D2423), EPSOM TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned TemporaryOrder under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Victoria Place (D2423), Epsom. This Traffic Order is required to enable highway surfacing and/or maintenance works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order thatcommences on 24 September 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergencyservices, pedestrians;
dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residences and businesses on the affected length of Victoria Place (D2423), will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route which will be: East Street, Kiln Lane, Middle Lane, Lintons Lane and Victoria Place. Anyvehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to asuitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle'sowner Dated: 05 September 2019 Authorising Officer: RBolton, Local Highway Services Group Manager
