PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS GARRATT LANE AND GREAVES PLACE, SW17

1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

? The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No.*) Order 2019



2 The general effect of the Orders would be:



(a) on the north side of Garratt Lane, from its junction with Khama Road to outside No. 979 Garratt Lane:



(i) remove a portion, equivalent to 3 parking spaces, from the existing shared-use residents permit and pay and display parking bay and in that portion introduce double yellow line "no waiting at any time" restrictions;



(ii) extend the existing double yellow line restrictions described in (i) above to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 969 and 971 Garratt Lane,



(b) on the south side of Garratt Lane, from its junction with Greaves Place to No. 890 Garratt Lane, extend the existing double yellow line restriction from outside No 890 Garratt Lane to its junction with Greaves Place; and



(c) on the east side of Greaves Place, continue the double yellow line described at (b) above into Greaves Pace for a distance of 18 metres.



3 Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5 Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ ECS/TM01738) by 19th July 2019.
