ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (BOROUGH-WIDE) (20mph SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 201* 20 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT
(Reference 19/063)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER will be to additionally introduce a 20 mile per hour speed limit in lengths of The Barons, Baronsfield Road, Dukes Avenue, Grasmere Avenue, Old Manor Drive, Whitton Manor Road and Wills Crescent.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, a plan showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order:-

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/063, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.htm

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Representations may also be sent by email to 20mph@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restrictions Elmfield Avenue, Teddington (Reference 19/083)


1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Elmfield Avenue, Teddington.


2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Elmfield Avenue, from its junction with High Street, Teddington to a point outside No 8 Elmfield Avenue.


3. The order will come into effect on 10 June 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 10 June until 14 June 2019, with back up dates of 17 June 2019 until 21 June 2019 if required, and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Albion Road, Twickenham
(Ref: 19/082)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a parking suspension in Albion Road, Twickenham

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the 2 parking spaces on the northern side of Albion Road outside Albion House and adjacent to the vehicle crossover outside Albion House.

3. The Order will come into effect on 3 June 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 3 June 2019 until 20 December 2019. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Nassau Road, Barnes
(Ref: 19/081)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a parking suspension in West Park Avenue, Kew

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the 2 parking spaces outside Nos 18 and 20 Nassau Road.

3. The Order will come into effect on 3 June 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 3 June 2019 until 26 August 2019. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
