My Uncle lived in Walthamstow - Lawrence Avenue and Hale End Road - for much of his life . He served in the RTR in 1944 to 1946 and as a result his health suffered for much of his life . But he was a tough ‘east ended’ and fought for his independence until the end of his life . I will miss him greatly and loved him very much . Rest in Peace with God -Reg .X
