Acclaimed tattooist Jorgie Evil put on skin shows as part of her events for the Hampton Hill Festival on Saturday 17th July. Many of her clients came along and proudly displayed Jorgie’s great artwork. There were demonstration of tattoo art and the special inks and equipment that Jorgie uses in her studio, all accompanied with some great live music (and a few drinks!)
Jorgie’s Mum had made a beautiful, embroidered child’s quilt which was raffled off, raising £55 for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Jorgie said, “It was a great day and so good to see so many old friends and make some new ones. We’ve been in the High Street for three years now but we’re a bit hidden down in the courtyard between Greenacres Kids Café and Elmbridge Plumbing & Heating but people usually find us!”
Tattoo art dates back to pre-historic times but Evil Weevil Ink has brought an age old art right up to the highest, modern standards. There are strict and stringent procedures for cleaning, health and safety. The premises are inspected every six months by LBRUT Licensing and health professionals.
The Hampton Festival was sponsored by Parker Car Services with the support of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
