With only a few days until the summer holidays finally arrive, I am completely ready for a very long break from school. However then I find that all of my friends are away when I’m at home and I’m away when my friends are at home. Then I think about what there is to do during the period when I’m at home and there are very few things that I can think of that one can do in the holidays on their own.
So if I’ll just end up lying on the sofa all day watching terrible daytime television every day in the holidays, I’d probably rather stay at school; at least it’s something to do! So although many are excited about the end of school and at the inevitable prospect of relaxation and no work, I’ve decided that it’s not quite as exciting as it probably normally would seem to me.
