I would like to know why NSL services and, presumably, Kingston Council feel it is safe to let civil enforcement officers check car windscreens for permits while still manoeuvring down a public road, sometimes on the wrong side.

I recently had a near miss with an officer who was quite obviously not in control of his machine, as well as being on the wrong side of the road.

I reported this to NSL, who advised me that their officers do not do this.

If you feel that this is an unsafe practice and you see this happening please report your sightings to terry.mcKenzie@nslservices.co.uk as he assures me they drive safely and would like to hear from anyone who feels they are not.
