Why is it that the bus stop outside the Guildhall, that also serves the market area, Kingston police station and the Rose Theatre, is bereft not just of a countdown indicator, but any form of shelter – just a wooden seat completely exposed to the elements?
Modern shelters are quite unobtrusive if that is what the problem is supposed to be. Live bus information is so important as, if you miss, say, a 458, or it is cancelled, you have to wait another hour.
I know one can text for London buses, but Abellio Surrey seemingly has nothing, despite the fact that some routes, such as the 458 and 459, are hourly.
As for Abellio, I give up, as they seem to ignore any enquiry over this matter.
