Regarding the story Tolworth Court Farm revealed as site of proposed Kingston country park (surreycomet.co.uk, September 10, 2014).

I read this online recently and think that this is a great idea for many reasons.

Firstly, I am a local resident and the biggest issue we have currently is teenage youths, who live nearby on the estates and like to use it for scrambling illegally on their motorbikes.

They also congregate there and leave drink cans and rubbish and set fire to trees, light fires and have late parties at weekends without tidying up.

Twice, I have had to put out fires burning tents.

Now we have airplanes flying there too on Sundays, which is noisy and illegal.

Changing this to a country park would probably help stop this behaviour and make kids respect it more and make them behave as it will be properly protected.

Parking can be made available there and it would make it so much better.

It is, at the moment, quiet and isolated, but open to abuse and not easy to protect, as police and councils have to be called.

So this area being safely managed would be a great idea.

There are deers living here and badgers, and it is a great site to walk dogs.

I like it and would give it my vote to make our area more appealling and better managed.
