Your article shows how the Religious Society of Friends has moved from a challenging position in the town centre to a place hidden away on the periphery (Greener Quaker centre finally opens, September 12).
This parallels other free churches that have surrendered their town centre sites to commerce, and moved to the fringe.
It is analogous to the marginalisation of religion.
On Sunday mornings Kingston is thronged with people seeking that which the moth corrupted and the thieves break through and steal.
