During an arts trip with my sixth form we visited the Business Design Centre at the Royal Agricultural Hall. Although you have to pay to get in, I found the trip really inspirational and helpful for ideas. There was a wide range of styles and mediums of art to explore including embroidery, acrylics, oils, and sculptural elements

It was really interesting to see such a diverse selection of art from many different artists with many different styles. I Particularly liked artwork from Banksy because he is a world famous artist and it was interesting to see his work up-close. I would really recommend the Business Design Centre to others who are interested in arts and design, however I found that you only need one - two hours to look around the whole thing. As I went for the day which I found to be too long after a while.

There is a nice café to buy food from but not many places to sit if you bring your own lunch.  There is also an opportunity to buy artwork

Also, it was encouraging to see so many creative minds and ideas in the same space because it gives you an insight into the industry and what its like to work around other creative people; although it can be competitive you also have a chance to develop your own skills and style.

Overall I really enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend to anyone interested in an interesting day out.
