Education. How has education changed? What does this mean for us? How worried should we be? As you well know, the grading system has changed in the UK; it seems that they are trying to input A-Level work into GCSE. In addition, the amount of coursework has been cut down meaning most of your grade will rely on your test paper. Schools don’t exactly know how this new style of examination works so they are not exactly able to give their students the essentials for passing their exams. This is quite unfortunate because students will be going into exams unprepared. This has such a big impact on the way things are and how they’re run. The things everyone’s asking are what’s next? What can we do for our children? How are they going to cope? Because this new way of teaching and examining will bring stress on pupils especially in secondary school because it could at some point become too much. Our children are not machines so why are you teaching them like they are? Education. Our education system is changing and we can’t stop it.
