On Tuesday 20th December, NEXT made its way through New Malden just in time for Christmas, bringing smiles and illumination along with it into the quiet, outmoded town. The true spirit of Christmas was seen upon the retailer as from the first day of opening, the store was completely packed with bustling shoppers rejoicing the update to trend in the neighbourhood so one can look no further than NEXT. What is more, the revamp has made shopping a piece of cake. From home decoration here to the new look there, there is almost everything NEXT door. For the locals, people can celebrate regarding the 400 jobs created here. Abi, a local resident of New Malden, thought there were great prospects for part time employment here: “As I am about to apply for university, it would be good to earn a bit of cash to fund my fees by working at NEXT at the weekend since it would be amazing to see how such a popular store fares in this quiet and old community. So, far it is doing great! As well as this, I can do a bit of my shopping here after my shift so that is an extra benefit, I suppose."
Clearly, the retail store is bound to constantly thrive with business: the complexity of the stunning, glass architecture revealing the wealth of goods that can be consumed and the busy location near the Kinston Bypass and the World of Golf London.
