Lanes School of Driving was established in 1914 and is one of the oldest established driving schools in the country. We offer driving lessons, both manual and automatic, with patient and friendly driving instructors. We also specialize in intensive driving courses, learn to drive in a week with a test arranged by us.
We offer driving lessons, Pass Plus and Driving Instructor training in south-east/south-west London, Kent and Surrey.

Lanes School of Driving started from humble beginnings, an office under the railway arches in Dulwich in 1914. Today, we are one of the largest independent driving schools in the South East of England
Driving Lessons
We cater for all types of learner, from the nervous to the overconfident. We offer a choice of male or female instructors and we can arrange the lessons to start from home, school or work. You can learn in a modern air conditioned Vauxhall Corsa or a BMW Mini. Whether you are a complete beginner or just need a few lessons to brush up for your test, we can cater to your requirements.

Intensive Driving Course
We offer a range of intensive courses, all with the driving test arranged by us.
You may need a one-day course with test (suitable for someone who has recently tried and not been successful,) up to a five-day intensive course with a guaranteed pass scheme
Train To Be A Driving Instructor
For over three decades Lanes Driving School has trained people from all walks of life to take up a new career as a DSA approved driving instructor. Many of our current driving instructors trained with us and have worked within the Lanes Group of driving schools for many years. We are currently looking for suitable people to train to fill vacancies within the group
