Tennis kids tipped as future stars

Several local youngsters have earned a place on the Lawn Tennis Association’s Aegon Future Stars Programme.

They include:

Alexander Jhun, 14, trains at Esporta Chiswick Riverside Club.

Brandon Murphy, nine, trains at the David Lloyd Club in Raynes Park.

Christian Throm-Jones, 16, lives West Molesey, trains at Reed’s School in Cobham.

Eleanor Dean, 14, live Wimbledon, trains at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.

Nicholas Nugent, 12, lives Wimbledon, trains at the David Lloyd Club in Raynes Park.

Nicole Shakhnazarova, 13, lives Kingston, trains at Gosling Sports Park.

Tiran Sanghera, 11, trains at Esporta Chiswick Riverside Club.

Tom Farquharson, 17, trains at Esporta Chiswick Riverside Club.

They are among 426 youngsters selected for the country, which recognises and supports some of the best juniors in the country.
