Esher Rugby will be holding their Moulin Rouge themed Summer Ball on Saturday 14th May at Molesey Road.

Ticket sales are fast approaching a sell out for the main event, with Al Fresco tickets already on sale for those wishing to join the fun after dinner. The annual ball is attended by players at all levels of the club, as well as members, staff, officials and supporters.

Esher Rugby are celebrating the end of a successful season across the club. The First XV secured their place in the RFU Championship for another year after finishing 9th in the league in their first season in the competition, and the Cardinals (2nd XV) won the both the Rugby Shield for the second season and the Surrey Cup. There’s been success across the amateur and youth teams as well with the Esher B’s winning the Surrey Combination 1 league and securing promotion to the Surrey Alliance, the Expendables winning the Surrey Vets Division 1 league, and both the U13’s and U14’s achieving promotion in the Surrey leagues.

The evening starts with a drinks reception, followed by a Parisian themed meal. Surrey-based band, the Everyday People will be performing after dinner, and there will be entertainment throughout the evening including burlesque dancers and a magician.

The Rainbow Trust will be running a casino at the event to raise vital funds for the charity, which provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

There will also be a raffle and auction, part of the club’s fundraising, with prizes including flights to Abu Dubai, hotel breaks, and vouchers from local restaurants, pubs and businesses.
