Former Reeds School students James Morrison and Ben Taylor start their Open Championship campaigns on Thursday afternoon.
Leatherhead amateur Taylor will have a long wait on the opening day of the 144th Open after he was paired with Australia’s Brett Rumford and the USA’s Tom Gillis and will tee off at St Andrews at 3:51pm.
St George’s Hill Golf Club’s Morrison heads out at 3.29pm alongside Italy’s Edoardo Molinari and Frenchman Romain Wattel.
High winds are expected to buffet the course tomorrow giving the players even more problems than they would otherwise.
