Molesey Boat Club pair Moe Sbihi and George Nash were in the men's eight crew that beat Ruder Club Hansa von 1898 e.V. Dortmund to lift the Grand Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta.

The two crews, who largely make up the international crews for their respective countires, will go head-to-head again at the World Cup regatta in Lucerne this weekend.

Former Walton Rowing Club man Angus Groom was in the men's quadruple sculls crew that claimed the Queen Mother Challenge Cup title in Oxfordshire with a comfortable five length win over German opposition.

But Groom does not make the trip to Switzerland with the men’s quad not scheduled to compete.

Fellow former Walton man Matt Tarrant teams up with Callum McBriety and Molesey cox Henry Fieldman in the men’s coxed pair.

And Molesey’s James Foad and Leander Club’s Matt Langridge won the men’s pairs Silver Goblets & Nickalls’ Challenge Cup at Henley and team up again for the World Cup.
