Lady Eleanor Holles School enjoyed a hat-trick of wins at Hampton School’s Hampton Head regatta on Saturday morning.
The school’s girls won the U15 coxed quadruple sculls, the U18 eights and produced an U16 coxed fours one and two to make it a memorable weekend on the Thames.
More than 567 crews – totalling more than 2,000 athletes from across the country – braved freezing conditions on the Thames from Sadler’s Rise in West Molesey to Sunbury lock.
Hampton’s U18s boys coxed fours triumphed with the U16 coxless fours finishing second and the U16 eights coming third in their resepctive races.
Walton Rowing Club’s U18 girls coxless four crew took home a bronze for their efforts, while Molesey Boat Club’s U18 girls coxed four put in a strong performance to finish second and claim silver.
