Lyle Taylor was on target twice as AFC Wimbledon took all the points off Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday with a 2-1 win.
Ardley said: "I thought we were by far the better team. They've had one shot on goal and they have hardly threatened us, and we had seven, eight clear-cut chances.

"We could go through a list of the chances where we could have done better, and you start to wonder, as we always do, ‘Are we going to pay the price for this?’
"It should have been more comfortable, but in the end we've seen our jobs out really well and we've done enough to win the game."
