Sutton United boss Paul Doswell praised FC Romania, but only after United had beaten them 3-2 to reach the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Two Glen Southam penalties and a Michael Spillane goal had United flying 3-0 ahead at half-time.
However, two second half goals from the hosts made for a nervy finale.
Doswell said: “I don’t think we were ever in any real serious trouble, but full credit to FC Romania.
“They put on a really good afternoon of football, both on and off the pitch, and they played a passing and confident style of football you rarely see at this level.”
United will host Burgess Hill Town in the next round on October 11.
“It’s another tough tie, but we are at home and that is massive,” Doswell added.
