1:31pm Thursday 8th December 2011 in Sutton United By Graham Moody
Craig Watkins and Leroy Griffiths want to take their FA Cup frustrations out on Blue Square South leaders Woking this Saturday.
Sutton United travel to the Cards, who beat them 5-0 on the opening day of the season, on the back of their FA Cup exit to Notts County on Sunday – a game they arguably could have won.
And Watkins insisted they now must concentrate on the league – where they have slipped down to fifth.
“It is a good thing we have such a big game,” he said.
"We cannot have a hangover now, we have to get up and go against the team that is top. It is going to be another great game and it is all about nicking the three points – Saturday is vital to us now.”
And Griffiths, who had a penalty saved in the cup defeat, added: “These are the games you look forward to after games like County.
“They are games where you can hurt someone. Woking hurt us at the start of the season so hopefully we can take our aggressions out on them and so can I.”
