Hampton & Richmond Borough captain Dean Sinclair fired home a late penalty as the Beavers beat Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Sinclair fired home in the 75th minute - after Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick had been felled - to earn all three points in front of more than 400 fans at the Beveree as Hampton moved up to fourth in the Ryman Premier League table.

Former Kingstonian midfielder Daniel Sweeney had scored scored his fourth goal in four appearances to give the visitors a first half lead, before Hampton defender Moussa Diarra levelled matters on the hour.

Boss Alan Dowson could afford to start the match with experienced striker Charlie Moone, midfielder Eddie Hutchinson, defender Kieran Murphy and forward Richard Pacquette on the bench with only Murphy entering the fray late in the game.

Hampton have now won three of their past four matches since a 3-1 defeat at league leaders Leiston on October 3.
