Kingstonian are to face West Ham United in a pre-season friendly at Kingsmeadow on Friday, July 31 (7.45pm).

Manager Alan Dowson told kingstonian.net: "We are delighted that a club of the stature of West Ham are coming.

"Gianfranco Zola has a soft spot for us from when he played here for Chelsea, and has promised to send his strongest possible side.

"We faced six internationals when we played Fulham last year and will face more top quality players this time."
