Ks boss Tommy Williams will be hoping new signing Lee O'Leary can break the Daniel Sweeney hoodoo hanging over Kingsmeadow at present, writes Stuart Amos.

Midfielder O’Leary made the move to Kingstonian from Hendon last week and featured in Saturday’s 1-1 stalemate at Tonbridge Angels.

Sweeney quit Ks for Dulwich Hamlet seven days earlier and has scored in each of his three appearances for his new club, helping them secure six points in that time.

By contrast, Ks have failed to win a match since his departure and have slipped out of the top five in the process.

And Williams will hope O’Leary, who scored 27 goals in 290 appearances for Hendon, can stop the rot sooner rather than later.

“Lee is a competitive midfield player with good Ryman League experience and played a big part in Hendon’s success last season,” said the manager.
