Off the mark: Hampton's Dave Tarpey smashes home his first goal on Tuesday
Hampton & Richmond Borough striker Dave Tarpey smashed a second-half hat-trick as the Beavers landed a dream FA Trophy third round trip to League Two Macclesfield Town's Moss Rose stadium on Saturday to face cash-strapped Northwich Victoria.
Tarpey's heroics, which came after he had also found the net in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Havant & Waterlooville, saw the Beavers beat Ryman Premier League side East Thurrock United 4-1 at the Beveree on Tuesday - a win thats sees Hampton pocket £7,000 in prize money.
