Charlton boss Bob Peeters was content with his side’s point away at Brighton despite the Addicks conceding late on.

A dramatic last minute header from Lewis Dunk prevented the Londoners from snatching a victory at the Amex after Igor Vetokele had twice given the away side the lead.

However, Dunk was on hand to equalise twice, the first in the 64th minute and then deep into added time for Brighton’s second to ensure the spoils were shared.

Peeters said: “Before the game you say you can get a good point away from a good side.

“We analysed them very well and I think we had a very good game plan.

“It worked as they couldn’t break our lines but scored from a set-piece that could happen every time.”

He added: “It’s disappointing (to concede late goal) but we have played five games and still are unbeaten so we should be happy and give credit to the players.

“We got a late winner against Wigan so everything balances itself out.”

Vetokele was once again the star man for the Addicks but Peeters was quick to add he has been impressed with the team rather than just individuals.

The SE7 head coach explained: “I’ve known him for a long time and I know he can do business here.

“It’s not only Igor, but the whole team is working together and that’s why he can score the goals.”

“Maybe in a few weeks he isn’t scoring and people start to kill him,” joked Charlton’s head coach.

“He’s an important player but we try to play our game and score goals and for me it doesn’t matter if it’s Johnnie Jackson, Vetokele or Andre Bikey that scores the goal.”
