Neal Ardley is sweating on the fitness of Andy Frampton ahead of this weekend’s League Two visit of Dagenham & Redbridge.
The central defender missed Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat at Bristol City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area quarter-final, where George Francomb hit the Dons consolation.
Frampton turned his ankle in the FA Cup draw at York City – he also scored the equaliser that has forced a replay next week.
Ardley said: “Andy turned the same ankle he broke and we were a little concerned about him, but it is a little bit better than we had first feared.
“We’ll have more of a diagnosis at the end of the week, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
