NPL clash finishes in a tie

NPL Teddington’s clash with Kew II finished in a tie on Saturday. NPL made 246-9 from 52 overs and Kew closed on 246-6 from 48 overs in reply.

NPL seconds held out for a draw at bottom side Farnham Common on Saturday.

The hosts made an impressive 339-5 dec from 48 overs - H Malik making 200 not out - and NPL were hanging on on 239-9 at the end.

Chris Churchman hit 60, Peter Manns 52 and Neil Bunting 68 not out for NPL.

NPL third crashed to a 137-run defeat at Boyne Hill.

The hosts made 289-9 declared, Andrew Griffin hitting 106. David Merchant Snr took 4-112 and Gary Salter 3-46.

Udaly Patel hit 56 for NPL but they were all out for 152, Raj Tiwana taking 5-32.
