Quins quartet Mike Brown, Joe Marler, Chris Brooker and Jordan Turner-Hall have been released from England duty this weekend and will be available for Saturday's Premiership trip to Gloucester.
But acting head coach Stuart Lancaster remained impressed with their contribution as he prepares his team, led by Chris Robshaw, to face Wales at Twickenham in the Six Nations on Saturday.
"We've had a great two days of training and some difficult selection decisions with players coming back into the equation," he said.
"Some players have missed out this time, but their attitude in training has been outstanding.
"We will look forward to meeting again on Wednesday night with our match day 22 and finalising preparations for the game."
