Commonwealth call for St Mary's duo

Two athletes mentored by Dame Kelly Holmes have this week been selected for the England team for October’s Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Andrew Osagie will compete in the men’s 800m and Charlotte Purdue in the women’s 10,000m.

Both are based at St Mary’s University College in Twickenham.

Dame Kelly said: “It will be a great learning experience for Charlotte and Andrew to compete in a multi-sport event as they builds towards London 2012 and I am sure that they will perform very well.”
