Sutton Runners took eight teams to the Nonsuch Park Relays, with the club enjoying various degrees of success.
Each team was made up of four runners, with each athlete covering a distance of 2.2 miles.
The first Sutton Runners male team home was made up of Chris Catt (10.27), Martin Newton (10.34), Ian Owen (11.57) and Jim Mundy (12.05), coming home in 45.03.
The next male team ran in a total time of 48.09 and was made up of Jim Mundy (11.41), Avi Shirodkar (12.32), Colin Cooper (13.03) and Chris Catt (10.53).
The first Sutton Runners female team completed the course in 49.06 and featured Vicky Foad (11.28), Andrea Francis (12.42), Lauren Jones (12.27) and Fiona Park (12.29).
The next team home was a male team (M40) who completed the course in 50.12. Running here were Mark Aldred (12.13), Neal Richardson (11.59), Graham Miller (12.24) and Joe Farrugia (13.36).
Then came another male team, completing the course in 51.34. This team featured Tony Gallagher (12.44), Steve Wise (12.38), Earl Tulloch (13.28) and Mark Aldred (12.44).
The next women's team completed in a total time of 55.51 and was made up of Anita Hedges (13.34), Claire Ballhatchet (14.30), Gill Fry (14.49), and Andrea Francis (12.58).
Then came a team of W40 athletes - Jackie Arrowsmith (14.54), Therese Panetta (13.30), Penny Hubbard (13.27), and Tina Russell (16.14). The final team was another women's team, who finished finished in 60.53 and was made up of Lynn Hickey (14.25), Kaye Benjamin (15.13), Karen Rogers (15.49) and V Major (15.26).
Meanwhile, eight members took part in the Banstead Woods 5k Time Trial. Chris Catt ran the course in 18.23, finishing in ninth place, and Lauren Jones came home in 21.53, in 55th place. The other runners were Peter Nixon (18.56,15th), Dave Ross (19.11, 16th), Steven Barber (20.30, 33rd), Claire Ballhatchet (25.52, 104th), Steven Clarke (26.59, 117th) and Patricia Cue (30.21, 141st).
At the Wimbledon Common 5k Time Trial, two members ran for the first time. Clair Du Toit finished in 27.16 (54th) and Michele Qualtrough in 29.36 (59th). Michaela Moher came home in 28.34 (56th).
In the London 10K, Chris Catt finished in 63.00 and ran with his brother, Simon.
